The best part about being a child is having a wild imagination. As a child, you aren’t exposed to the harsh realities of the real world, so you are able to create different utopias inside of your mind. For example, children can play house where they live in a palace with a pet unicorn. The older you get, the more you realize these childhood dreams are unrealistic. Your imagination is dulled by expectations placed on each individual by society. You need to grow up, go to school, and get a job.

In my photo, I want to showcase what it means to be a child. To be a child is to create and live out whatever you create in your imagination. My photo depicts a little boy stranded on an island with his noble steed and the only way he can get off is by leaping to a different island. The purpose of this photo is to get people to think like they did when they were a child. They need to utilize their wild imagination to visualize what this little boy is seeing.
