Individuals who struggle with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) have unreasonable thoughts or fears that lead to compulsive behaviors. Most often, this includes the fear of germs and the need arrange or do things in a certain manner. For this reason, OCD and the term “order” go hand in hand.

In my photo, I showcased the fear of germs and the need to arrange things in a specific order. I depicted the fear of germs by having cleaning supplies lined up on the edge of the bathtub while the girl is running a bath. The idea is to show that the girl uses harsh cleaning supplies to rid her body of germs rather than generic body soap. This exaggerates the fear of germs. Also, the bathtub is clean, which is an important detail when trying to depict the fear of germs. By having the cleaning supplies placed neatly on the edge of the tub also goes along with the idea that everything needs to be arranged in a certain manner.
