     For this assignment, we were told to take a photo of an everyday object, but portray it in a unique way. To go about the assignment, I took a walk around my neighborhood to see what I could find. It so happens that there was a new neighborhood in the making near my house, so I walked around the construction site and I found this Bobcat machine. It had dirt and rust all over it and I thought to myself: "this machine has a lot of character." I decided to use this photo because I think the different values of the dirt, rust, and shadows make the photo very unique and interesting.
